In 1987, I embarked on an exhilarating journey by opening the doors to Hayes Martin Associates, fully aware that the path ahead was uncharted. However, my vision was clear: to be meaningfully different, to provide marketing counsel, strategic creative direction, and innovative solutions that would raise the bar and exceed expectations in the homebuilding and land development industry.
 
As time passed, we did just that. Our team's talent ignited innovation, and our hard-earned success fostered unshakable confidence. Collaboration became our driving force, and we built a respected reputation for our marketing expertise, purposeful strategies, and groundbreaking creativity. Everything we undertook served as a stepping stone towards achieving greater success.

For 37 years, HMA has profoundly shaped my life, heart, and soul. As I contemplate this incredible journey, I do so with pride and gratitude and with deep reflection have decided to retire and close the doors to HMA on December 31, 2023 completing an era of passion and unwavering commitment.

I want to express my deepest appreciation to our valued clients who contributed to making this dream a reality. Your confidence and trust shaped not just a business, but a monumental chapter of my life.
 
I will be forever grateful to Michele Linaweaver for her dedication and talent. Michele and every member of the HMA family for the last 37 years have been the cornerstone of this remarkable and transformative journey. 

Looking ahead, I embark on this transition with a sense of fulfillment, knowing that the impact of HMA will endure, resonating in the hearts of those it has touched.
